Payments go directly to the shop

citybooks doesn't collect payments for orders. Buyers pay the shop using the payment details shown on their order page: GCash, Maya, bank transfer, cash on delivery or meetup.

For buyers

• Only pay to the account shown on your citybooks order page.
• Upload your receipt and reference number so the shop can confirm.
• Never send payment through links or accounts shared outside citybooks.

For shops

• Only collect payment through the methods saved in Shop Methods.
• Confirm a payment only after checking your own app or bank. A screenshot is not a payment.
• Never ask a buyer to cancel and pay outside citybooks.
